Gennari, Dante, 100, of Riverside, passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2018. He was the husband of the late Adelina “Addie” M. (Fasciano) Gennari.

Born in East Providence, a son of the late Adolfo and Maria (Guidi) Gennari.

Mr. Gennari was a job supervisor specializing in many bank and retail projects and historic restoration. He also taught woodworking at East Providence Boys and Girls Club.

He was a WWII Veteran responsible for communications in the Pacific Theater.

He is survived by two sons, Donald and Richard Gennari and the late Corinne A. Taylor. He was the brother of Adolph (Jack) Gennari and the late Eldo (Al) and George Gennari and the late Mafalda (Gennari) Tacchella. He leaves two grandchildren, Christopher Taylor and Lindsey Thomas and one great grandchild.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday morning 9-10 a.m.
