David J. Krawczyk

David Joseph Krawczyk entered into rest on April 21, 2014 at the age of 58. He was born in Texas on April 10,1956 to Capt. Edward C. Krawczyk and Lucille (Schattel) Krawczyk. He was the oldest of their five children. When David’s father died in Vietnam in 1968, his mother moved the family to Riverside, R.I. where David attended Riverside Junior High School and East Providence High School. David was a gifted swimmer for his high school team, a brilliant student having been accepted at BU school of engineering, and a very protective older brother. He finished his studies at Bryant College in 1997 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He loved the outdoors, camping in New Hampshire, and summers on Cape Cod. David also enjoyed music, playing the guitar and his Camaro and BMW, warm sunny weather, the beach, and always dreamed of moving to a warmer climate! However he stayed close to his mother and siblings.

He is survived by his brothers Donald Krawczyk of New Bedford, Paul Krawczyk and his wife Kathryn of Rochester MA, his sisters Karen Krawczyk and her husband Jeffrey of Greenfield MA, and Janet Medina and her husband Jaime of Stoughton MA. He is also loved by his many nieces and nephews: Lucie and Julia Krawczyk of New Bedford MA, Sybil, India and Edward Krawczyk of Rochester MA, Andrew Blais of Greenfield MA, and Jamie, Charlotte, Joshua, Jacob, Hannah, Gabrielle, Rebekah, Matthew, Jonathan, and Andrew Medina of Stoughton MA.

His funeral will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 6-8 pm.
