Peters, Diane M. (Crudele), 62, of Third Street, Barrington, died peacefully on December 23, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Robert and Claire (Lefebvre) Crudele, she lived in Barrington for the past 2 years, previously residing in East Greenwich.

Ms. Peters was a cardiac sonographer at Rhode Island Hospital for 10 years before retiring due to illness.

Diane enjoyed yoga, gardening, astrology, reading, sailing, the beach and spending time outdoors.

Ms. Peters was a graduate of Alvin Community College, Alvin Texas.

She is survived by two sons, Zachary A. Peters and his fiancé, Emma Stevens and step-son, Maddox Ramer of Warren and Jonathan P. Peters and his wife Kayla of Harvest, Alabama; three sisters, Nancy Crudele-Lyle of Lincoln, Debra Crudele-Morgan of Westerly and Lynda Williams of Wakefield; a brother, Robert Crudele of Narragansett and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 4 p.m. Calling Hours are 2-4 p.m. Contributions in Diane’s memory to Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O. Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715 would be deeply appreciated.

  1. I just heard. I am so sorry to all who loved her. This is very heartbreaking news. Diane was beautiful, vibrant and lived her life well. I was very fond of her. I am very sad that she has passed. Best wishes to her family.

  5. It still doesn’t seems real that my soul sister Diane is passed. She had so much love for her family, especially
    for her two son, Zach and Jon Jon. She was passionate for her work, knowledgeable and skillful as a Cadiac Sonographer. With all these memories, I will still miss you Diane, as a coworker, as a friend and as a soul sister.

  11. I’m was so sorry to hear about Diane’s passing. Although I haven’t spoken to her in years, she was part of our family for 30. We shared many fun times including the birth of our son’s only 6 weeks apart. My thoughts and prayers are with my nephews now. I love them and want them to know we are here for them. Rest now Diane.

  15. I am completely saddened and disheartened to hear of my friend, Diane’s untimely death. I wish Zack and Jonathan the greatest sympathies in their time of need. I have so many beautiful memories with Diane from baking a birthday coconut cake to a Thelma and Louise trip to Alabama and back to RI via a moving truck in 24 hours. Heaven gained an angel. Rest in peace, dear friend. Hopefully, you’re soaking up the ocean beach rays above us. Until we meet again.
