Burns, Dolores M., 87, of Promenade Street, Riverside, died peacefully on November 24, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Robert P. Burns.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alide and Jane (Burke) Jarbeau, she lived in Riverside since 1962.

Mrs. Burns was a clerk for the State of Rhode Island Unemployment Division for many years.

Dolores was a member of the Riverside Circle of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a volunteer and supporter of the Diocese of Providence Catholic Charity Drives and enjoyed ceramics.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael R. Burns and his wife Nancy A. Burns of Amston, CT and a sister, Diane Clemente of Riverside. She was the sister of the late Margaret Forrest and Alide Jarbeau Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 9 a.m. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
