Gilberto, Domenica, F., (Salvo), ‘Marge’, 95, formerly of Centennial Avenue, died peacefully on September 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Domenic A. Gilberto.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Antonia (Olivo) Salvo, she lived in Barrington for 25 years.

Mrs. Gilberto was a clerk for the former Imperial Knife Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1982.

Domenica was a communicant of Holy Angels Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Madelyn A. Lavin and her husband Robert of Riverside, Annabelle ‘Tootsie’ Zinni of Barrington and Antonia ‘Toni’ McGuire and her husband Michael of Bristol, a brother, Salvatore Salvo Jr. of Cranston; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Michael Salvo and Agnes Trio and mother-in-law of the late Nicholas W. Zinni.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
