Marshall, Donald, L., ‘Don,’ 73, of Ferry Lane, passed away on Tuesday May 18, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Mullis) Marshall.

Mr. Marshall had a lifetime passion for the sport of racing and was a member of both the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame and the New England Dragway Hall of Fame. In 1971 the King & Marshall team won the Gator Nationals Top Fuel Championship.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Melinda Marshall, Donna Marshall Adams and Rhonda Marshall, two beloved step-daughters; Joy Edgy and Shallynn Brown, a sister; Dorothy Marshall Englis, a brother; James Marshall, ten grandchildren, two great granddaughters and many loving friends and family. He was the brother of the late Alden Marshall and grandfather of the late Joseph D. Marshall.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 5, 2010 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 12 noon. Calling hours are 11 am to 12 noon. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
