Bowden, Doreen F., (Adams), 73, of Fairfield Avenue, died peacefully at home on March 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John L. and Adelaide (Murphy) Adams, she lived in Warwick before residing in Woonsocket for the past four years.

Mrs. Bowden was a Director of the Outpatient Care at Women’s & Infants Hospital for 5 years before retiring in 2005 due to illness.

Doreen enjoyed drawing.

She is survived by two sisters, Diane L. Rogers of Woonsocket and Dawn M. Schachte of Rio Verde, AZ; two nieces, Nora Schachte and Kelly Clinton and two nephews, Sean Schachte and Donald Prest.

Her funeral service will be private.
