Korkuc, Dorothy, A. (Beagen), 89, of Holland Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on July 31, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edmund T. Korkuc.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Leonard) Beagen, she lived in Riverside for 56 years.

Dorothy was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was a 45 year cancer survivor who devoted her life to her children and family. She enjoyed music and sports.

Besides her husband of 60 years, she is survived by two daughters; Deborah A. Giordano and her husband Sabatino of West Greenwich and Donna M. Niederberger and her husband David of Riverside, a son; Robert E. Korkuc and his wife Martha of Amherst, NH, a brother; Daniel Beagan of Cranston and six loving grandchildren; Sabatino ‘Joey’, Melanie Dorothy, Michael, Megan, Jennifer and Ryan. She was the sister of the late Rev. James Beagen CSSP, Sr. Mary John Leonard SSND, John, Thomas and Matthew Beagen.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday August 3, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are TODAY Friday 4-8 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
