Rooney, Dorothy, A., 89, formerly of 71 Leroy Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on December 30, 2016.

She is survived by three daughters; Kathleen A. Rooney of North Providence, Mary E. Rooney of West Warwick, and Patricia M. Pearson of East Greenwich, and four sons; Kevin J. Rooney of Scituate, James M. Rooney of Upper Darby, PA, John P. Rooney of Saunderstown, and Joseph E. Rooney of Wakefield. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Friday January 6, 2017 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday January 5 from 4-7 p.m.
