Gablinske, Dorothy, G., (Vera), 98, of Mt. Pleasant Avenue, died peacefully on May 15, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William H. Gablinske.

Born in Warren, a daughter of the late John and Bella (August) Vera, she lived in Bristol for 60 years and Barrington for 10 years.

Mrs. Gablinske was a nurse’s aid for the former Desilets Nursing Home.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen A. Palumbo and a son, John Gablinske, both of Bristol; two sisters, Bella Lima of Bristol and Mary McKay of VT; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Georgia Borges, John and Warren Vera.

A private burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. Arrangements are by the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, Riverside.
