Dorothy Rose Zuromski

Zuromski, Dorothy Rose, (Moscicki), of Riverside, entered in eternal rest on February 18, 2021, after 65 years of loving marriage to Chester Charles Zuromski. She was born in Providence, RI, the daughter of John and Stella Moscicki, and the step daughter of Stanley Bonk. She is survived by her husband Chester, her daughter Barbara Pratt (Chester) of Rotterdam, NY and her son Andrew Zuromski of East Providence, RI. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rachel, Erin, and Maxwell Pratt, as well as nephews Mark Baginski, Joseph Baginski, Richard Zuromski, and Robert Zuromski. She was predeceased by her sisters Jennie Suchwalko and Irene Baginski.

She worked as the senior clerk in the Office of the Adjunct General of the Rhode Island National Guard for many years before leaving to raise her family. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family.

Eternal rest be granted to her O Lord. Amen.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday February 24, 2021 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett, Avenue, Riverside at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke’s Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours are Wednesday morning 8-9 a.m. The guidelines set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health will be observed. Face coverings are required and only fifteen people will be allowed in the building at a time.     Mary Anne, Jay, and I read with great sorrow the passing of Dottie. You, your children, and grandchildren are in our thoughts and prayers in this most difficult time. When I think of you and Dottie, I think of you as a great team helping each other weather the trials and tribulations of 65 years of marriage, especially these last few years.

    Dorothy was a good friend and a person of great faith.
    I saw her at mass every Saturday nite at 5 with Chet.
