Earle W. Farrar

Farrar, Earle W., 62, of Austin Avenue, Greenville, formerly of Riverside, died unexpectedly on June 30, 2018. He was the former husband of Jeanne C. (Cain) Farrar.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Albert F. Farrar and Arolin L. (Burnham) Bates, he lived in Greenville for 14 years previously living in East Providence.

Mr. Farrar was a cutter grinder for the R.I. Carbide Co. for 10 years.

Besides his former wife, he is survived by a son, Christopher E. Farrar of Cape Coral, FL; two sisters, Gail Farrar of Georgia and Judy Gillette of Warwick; two grandchildren, Sydney Sage Farrar and Brady Dale Farrar and step-mother, Joan B. Farrar.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2018 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Earle’s memory to Rhode Island Alcohol Anonymous, 1005 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI, 02914 would be deeply appreciated.

  4. So sorry, I loved working with Earle. He once came to work in a tux to teach red hat ladies how to use power tools. They loved him. Good bye old friend I’ll never forget you.

  6. We had so many memories going back to Jr. High. How the years have rolled by. You will always be in my prayers and thoughts. So, so many fun times.

  16. Earle, I remember that you would give the shirt off your back. I remember working with you at R.I. Cutter Grinding and helping you finish the inside of your baby blue 1975 Chevy Van. How we went to Seekonk Speedway, what a blast! The list of memories are many, but best of all you were a good brother to me. Love you, Richard
