Giorgi, Edmond, T., 85, of Barrington, died unexpectedly on January 12, 2016. He was the husband of the late Angela A. (Piccerelli) Giorgi.

Born in Barrington, a son of the late Domenic and Florence (Homan) Giorgi, he lived in Barrington for 68 years.

Mr. Giorgi worked for the Barrington School Department for 20 years before retiring in 1988.

Edmond was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. He was a member of the Barrington American Legion Post #8. An amateur singer, he received numerous singing contest awards. He enjoyed attending Broadway plays and fishing.

Mr. Giorgi was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, where he received a Purple Heart.

He is survived by two sons, Edmond T. Giorgi Jr. and his wife Marylee of Barrington and Anthony N. Giorgi and his wife Siobhan of Providence; a daughter, Donna M. Lama and her husband David of Barrington; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter and a sister, Rita Gentile of PA. He was the brother of the late Donald and Florence Giorgi.

His funeral will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.
