  19. I knew Edmund as a very humble, understanding, non-judgmental person. His honesty was a blessing to me, for I was looking for an AA sponsor whom I could tell my deepest, darkest secrets to. I heard him speaking of his experience with the steps.Wow! It was powerful. I said to myself, “That’s the man I’m going to ask to sponsor me.” That man did not judge me harshly, did not give me orders, did not talk to me in a condescending way. He treated me with dignity and respect. He transmitted the care of God to me from his heart, so I shall accord him dignity, respect, and homage. Thank you Ed Taylor.
