Crevier, Edna, R., (Fratus), 90, of Mystic Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on July 26, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Joseph L. Crevier, retired East Providence Police Department.

A lifelong resident of East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary P. (Morris) Fratus.

Mrs. Crevier worked at the former Eileen Darling’s Restaurant for 23 years before retiring in 1986. She previously was an executive secretary at Quonset Point.

Edna was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Besides her husband of 69 1/2 years, she is survived by two daughters, Marylou Gillen and her husband John of Coventry and Marcia A. Miller and her husband Joseph of East Providence, a son; Mark E. Crevier and his wife Sandy of Saunderstown; two sisters, Esther Gould of Maine and Eunice Bishop of Florida; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elaine Fratus, Ethel Devaney and Edward Fratus.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday July 31, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 am. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
