Fontaine, Edward C., 64, of Pontiac Avenue, died peacefully on September 5, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann (Curley) Fontaine.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Watson) Fontaine, he lived in Cranston for 22 years.

Edward was a member of the Best Buddies program. He enjoyed solving puzzles, collecting model cars, painting bird houses and playing with his cat. Eddie loved visiting Florida with his wife for the past few winters.

Ed was a kind and gentle soul and a special part of the Fogarty Center for over 45 years.

In addition, he was a quality control officer at McLaughlin & Moran, Inc. for 28 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Kathy Daniels and her husband Roland of Pawtucket and Marie Fontaine of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Fontaine.

His funeral service will be held on Monday September 10, 2018 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
