Stimpson, Edward H. “Ted”, 65, of Old County Road, Smithfield, passed away on January 28, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved companion of Marie Hytinen.
Born in Providence a son of the late John and Dolores (Meanerhon) Stimpson, he was a resident of Smithfield for 20 years, previously residing in Providence.
Edward was a foreman for former Lee Engineering MFG for the past 12 years.
Mr. Stimpson was a United States Army Veteran.
Besides his companion, he is survived by two sisters, Jean Howell of Coventry and Dolores Gallagher; a brother, Paul Stimpson of Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gail Mimnaugh, John Stimpson, Robert Stimpson and James Stimpson.
His Funeral Service will be private.
