Magnelli, Edward, V., 90, of Glenrose Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on Friday June 15, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Sylvia B. (Fiyod) Magnelli.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Frederick and Mary (DeAngelis) Magnelli, he lived in Riverside for 50 years.

Mr. Magnelli worked for the former Gammino Construction Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1981.

Edward was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was a vocalist, musician and a member of the High-Tones Band.

He is survived by a son; Steven E. Magnelli of Barrington, two daughters; Karen J. DePasquale of West Greenwich and Nancy L. Magnelli of Riverside, formerly of San Francisco, CA, two sisters; Adeline Ciaccio of Providence and Ursula Gardner of VA, a brother; Albert Magnelli of Cranston and two grandchildren; Marissa and Lucas. He was the brother of the late Louis Magnelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Monday June 18, 2012 at 10:30 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, Riverside.
