Harlin, Eleanor, E., 100, formerly of Catalpa Avenue, Riverside, East Bay Manor and Harbor Point, died peacefully on July 17, 2014 at Harbor Point, Centerville, MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George E. Harlin.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Albina (Dupont) Thibault.

Mrs. Harlin was a head nurse at the Jane Brown Unit of Rhode Island Hospital retiring in 1980.

Eleanor was a graduate of Rhode Island School of Nursing Class of 1936. She was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the Forever Young Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Gail E. Carr of Largo, FL; a sister, Beatrice Cain of Riverside; a granddaughter, Cindy Vargus of West Harwich, MA and two great grandchildren, Alexander and Olivia Vargus. She was the sister of the late Bernice Miga, Pauline O’Brien and Vivian Thibault and grandmother of the late Ronald H. Carr.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 22, 2014 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 12 noon. Calling hours are Tuesday morning 10 a.m.-12 noon. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery.
