Brosseau, Elizabeth, G., ‘Betty’, 89, of Willett Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on January 1, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Walter S. Brosseau.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Henry and Eleanor (Heaney) Evans, she lived in Riverside for 16 years.

Mrs. Brosseau was a graduate of Bryant College Class of 1948. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and following politics.

She is survived by her children, Elinor I. Brosseau of Wareham, MA, Paul W. Brosseau of Ellicott City, MD, Mary E. Wilkins of Rockwall, TX, Michael G. Brosseau of Woonsocket and Patricia R. Brosseau of Yarmouth, Maine; two brothers, David Evans of Chelsea, MA and Brian Evans of Jamestown and six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Henry and Owen Evans.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday January 6, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, 92 Hope Street, Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
