Urso, Elizabeth, L., 97, of Pine Top Road, died peacefully on Friday November 14, 2014. She was the wife of the late John J. Urso.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Sabina (Ciarvadini) Vona, she lived in Barrington for 37 years.

Mrs. Urso was a supervisor for the former Grants Department Store for 20 years before retiring in 1979.

Elizabeth was a communicant of St. Luke Church. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Council Knights of Columbus Woman’s Auxiliary, North Providence.

She is survived by two sons, John A. Urso and Ronald J. Urso, both of Barrington and a sister; Josephine Florio of East Providence. She was the sister of the late Isabelle Wade, Anna Mariani, John, Edmund and Amando Vona.

Her funeral will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
