She went out of her way to make people feel welcomed and was always there when you needed someone to talk to. She loved her sons more than anything in the world and it showed in everything she did. 10. You were the best mother a son could ask for..We had good and bad times, but in the end only a mother’s love is eternal. I know that Dad, Nanna, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Bert and Uncle Eddie and Rick were waiting for you.

Betsy always found time to say Hello and Chat in the Ferrys cabin even after long day working off Island. I was always happy to see her.

  12. Betsy was Aunt Betsy to me. She was a kind and thoughtful soul. I used to look forward to visiting her and even though she had her hands full with Andrew any Scott, she always made time to make me feel loved and included.

As I got older I came to appreciate just how much love she had to share. She loved her boys so much and stayed very close with them her whole life. She has inspired me as a parent to stay close with mine.

It was also wonderful to see her relationship with her big sister, Aunt Janey. I remember them always being quick to share a laugh and be there for each other in times of need.

We’ll miss you Aunt Betsy but we won’t forget you.
