Butler, Ernest N. Sr., 90, of Union Street, Riverside, died peacefully on June 10, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Grace Ellen (Fraughton) Butler.
Born in Maine, son of the late Sherwood and Florence M. (Walls) Butler, he lived in Riverside for 56 years.
Mr. Butler was a truck driver for 44 years before retiring in 1990.
Ernest enjoyed fishing, quahogging, cooking and sharing stories with his loving family and friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda D. Silva of Riverside and Elaine M. Rankin of Riverside; a son, Ernest N. Butler Jr. of Riverside; three sisters, Gayle Johnson of Killingly, CT, Joyce Stephens of CT, and Dawn; two brothers, Peter Butler of Riverside and Michael Butler of Maine; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Dana, Gordon, Sherwood and Brian Butler.
His Funeral will be private. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
