Nardoza, Esther M. (McCabe), 93, of Indian Road, Riverside, died peacefully on February 17, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles G. Nardoza.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Eugene and Eva (Gillis) McCabe, she lived in Riverside for 65 years.

Mrs. Nardoza was a shipper for the former Trifari Jewelry Manufacturing Company from 1974-1990. She previously was an Operator for the former New England Telephone Co.

Esther was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was a graduate of St. Xavier’s High School Class of 1946 and a member of the St. Xavier’s Alumni Association. She enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles.

She is survived by two sons, Charles G. Nardoza Jr. of Riverside and Gerard V. Nardoza; two sisters, Arlene Cinq-mars of Maine and Mary McCabe of Warwick; three grandchildren; one great grandson and her devoted caregivers, Johanna and Kaitlin. She was the mother of the late Diane Nardoza and sister of the late Elaine McCormick, William, Edward and John McCabe.

Calling hours will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Saturday February 26, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 28, 2022 in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m.. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

  2. My heart felt prayers for Charles, Gerald and the family. My Mom , Arlene McCabe Cinq-Mars and “Angel” Mary McCabe. We celebrate her life and memories. Blessings and we will one day have a glorious reunion.
