  1. Dear Susan,

I was just thinking of your Mom and was saddened to learn that she has passed.

She was such a wonderful person and a dear, dear friend of my Mom, Louise Schlee. I admired her strength during difficult times and remember her grace and class. I will let my brother, David, know. I know he would join me in remembering her fondly.

She spoke often of her family …you, your late sister…and her beloved grandchildren. She loved you all so much.

Sending my since condolences to you and your family…especially during this first holiday season without your Mom.

May she Rest In Peace with the Angels and may you always cherish precious memories of her.

    Debbie Schlee

  2. Susan
I am so sorry, I just found out about your mom passing. I think Mrs. Stamoulis said it best at how strong your mother was, always so gracious. I have many fond memories with you, your dad, Lisa and your mom. I will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
We have lived in Barrington for the past 5 years and I would run into her with all her friends at Tavinos or other restaurants and we would pick up where we left off. She was an amazing person.
    Love,
    Shawna

  7. Dearest Susan,
Once again I need to share that your Mom was one of the strongest woman I have known. In her journey, she experienced some of life’s greatest challenges, losing a husband and a daughter, and her own health issues. Never a complaint, always grateful and always with grace.
Watching you care for your mother I see the same qualities.
May you find peace in all the great memories of a life lived well.
    Much love.
