Conaty, Eugenia, ‘Jennie’, 95, of Sprague Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on November 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L.T. Conaty.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Amelia (Olynik) Roy, she lived in Riverside for 69 years.

Mrs. Conaty was a salesperson for Shepards, Gladdings and the Outlet Company for 20 years before retiring in 1980.

Jennie was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed painting, gardening and going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren baseball games.

She is survived by a daughter, Anne E. Conaty of Riverside; three sons, Joseph T. Conaty and his wife Patricia of Riverside, Frederick P. Conaty and his wife Kathleen of Riverside and John M. Conaty and his wife Cindy of Barrington; a brother, Fred Roy and his wife Alice of Warwick; two sisters, A. Mildred Sullivan of Warwick and Madlyn Nelson and her husband Alfred of Dennis, MA, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Olga H. Audet and Helen McGovern.

Her funeral will be held on Friday November 20, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
