Evangeline D. Caprioli

Caprioli, Evangeline, D., ‘Vange’, 73, of Forest Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on April 1, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Impatient Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Leo J. ‘Capi’ Caprioli.
Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Serafina (Marasco) Ruggiero, she lived in Riverside for 47 years.
Mrs. Caprioli was a manager of the former Luckett Studio and Loring Studio for 30 years. She later was a book keeper for the Church Travel Agency for 20 years before retiring in 1999.
Evangeline was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was a member of the East Providence Senior Center. She enjoyed art, painting, stain glass, bingo, gardening, traveling and her dog; ‘Bogie Henry.’
Besides her husband of 38 years, she is survived by two sisters; Mary Heagney of Lincroft, NJ and Rose R. Siravo of Riverside, a brother; Joseph Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA, a step-daughter; Susan Beal of Florida, six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the step-mother of the late Wendy McCabe.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2010 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday 3-7 pm.
