DeRensis, Filomena, E., (Dalessio), ‘Fannie’, 98, of Willett Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on December 2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Carl G. DeRensis.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Angelo and Elisa (Popolizio) Dalessio, she lived in Riverside for 63 years.

Mrs. DeRensis was a clerk for the former Jalbert’s Pharmacy, Riverside for 22 years before retiring in 1978.

Filomena was a communicant of Holy Angels Church where she was a member of the Woman’s Guild. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by a daughter, Jean M. Mitchell and her husband David E. Wing of Dover, NH; a grandson, Adam D. Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA and two sisters, Ann Lenon of Swansea, MA and Norma Pearson of Riverside. She was the sister of the late Frank Dalessio and Dora Florenzano.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday December 6, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.
