Dalessio, Filomena V., (Leone), 98, of Waverly Road, died peacefully at home on December 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frank Dalessio.

Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Donato and Annunziata (Castriata) Leone, she lived in Barrington for 77 years.

Mrs. Dalessio was a cook for the Barrington School Department for 26 years.

Filomena was a communicant of Holy Angels Church.

She is survived by three sons, Angelo Dalessio and his wife Sharon of Seekonk, MA, Douglas Dalessio of Barrington and Frank Dalessio and his wife Beverly of Barrington; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Helen Ruggeiro, Mary Nunes, Adeline Gamblin, Thomas Leone and Ida Cassano.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.
