Coury, Frances, 93, of Roffee Street, Barrington, died peacefully on November 10, 2021. She was the wife of the late Fred P. Coury Sr.. They were married for sixty years.

Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Andrew and Maria (Ferrara) Abate, she lived in Barrington for 65 years.

Mrs. Coury was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Her home was the gathering place of cherished memories for family and friends for over sixty years of Sunday dinners, birthdays and holidays.

She is survived by her children, Fred P. Coury Jr. and his wife Deborah of Warren, Debby Mallozzi and her companion Paul Morelli of Barrington and Kenneth S. Coury and his wife Adriana of Barrington; a great granddaughter, Shenelle Teixeira who lived with her; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John and Dan Coury and sister of the late Anna Dallaire, Grace Proulx, Rose Andreozzi, Ralph F., Charles, Salvatore and Frank Abate.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 17, 2021 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted.

  5. We were told about you late when you were a bit unwell by your daughter in law Debby who is such a blessing to us but that late wasn’t too late. We felt the need to mumble a prayer to God to be with you even in your final moments with us alive. God has done His will , we respect it. Deep down from the heart of the Village in Kenya, we celebrate you. We give honour and praise to God for you because through you God’s purpose of feeling your love through Debby is a reality today. We ask God to console a family and friends. Remain strong and champion all the good intentions of mummy. Sleep well dear. Till we meet again. Thank you.
