Prichard, Frances M., of Sowams Road, Barrington, died peacefully on Saturday August 28, 2021. She was the wife of the late Albert W. Prichard.

Born in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Walter P. and Winifred (Dwyer) Wenning, she lived in Barrington since 1969.

Mrs. Prichard was a nurse at Miriam Hospital for over 30 years.

Frances enjoyed gardening, her cats and traveling with her loving family.

She is survived by her children, Janet J. Prichard of North Smithfield, Marlene F. Prichard of Riverside and Anthony P. Prichard of La Crescenta, CA and two grandchildren, Andrew W. Hayden and Sarah C. Hayden. She was the sister of the late Shirley Steinmetz and Carol Magee.

Calling hours will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Friday September 3, 2021 from 4-7 p.m.

A private burial will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Contributions in Frances’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI, 02886 would be deeply appreciated.

  4. Janet, Marlene, and Anthony, Franny was my very good friend and colleague in CCU. We had wonderful times together. I am so very sad she has left us but she will always be in my heart and prayers as will you. She was so proud of you and her grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah. Love and condolences.

  8. Tony, my thoughts are with you. I see she was a nurse. I hope you realize how many lives she touched in many different ways. My mother was a nurse and to this day, I often hear people telling me about their experience and how much they adored her. I’m sure your mother was admired by many. She mad a difference for many people.
