Schifino, Frank, A., 96, of Woodbine Street, Riverside, died peacefully on November 7, 2014. He was the husband of the late Joan H. (Churchill) Schifino.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Pasquale and Catherine (Consiglio) Schifino, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. Schifino was a traffic manager for Taco Inc. for 40 years before retiring in 1998.

Frank was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the Riverside American Legion Post #10. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Mr. Schifino was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by six children, Geraldine L. Wind of Rochester, NY, Francis A. Schifino and his companion Annie Hytinen of East Providence, Robert F. Schifino and his wife Tanya of Attleboro, MA, Frederick W. Schifino of Riverside, Kathleen A. Mota and her husband Dinarte of Rehoboth, MA and Jacqueline A. Morrell and her husband Christopher of Hanover, Germany; a sister, Madge LeFranc of Riverside; a brother, William Schifino of Tampa, FL; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Flora Schifino, Leonard Schifino, Gerald Schifino, Anthony Schifino and Pasquale Schifino Jr.

His funeral will be held on Thursday November 13, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours are Wednesday 5-9 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Frank’s memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 would be deeply appreciated.
