Marcoccia, Frank, 83, of Middle Highway, Barrington, died peacefully on June 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Lynda S. (Luther) Marcoccia.

Born in Rome, Italy, a son of the late Dominic and Maria Theresa (Andreozzi), he lived in Barrington for most of his life.

Mr. Marcoccia was the owner and operator of Marccocia Brother’s Inc. from 1972-1991.

Frank was a member of the Barrington Democratic Club, Tyler Point Yacht Club and the USGA. He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, having daily coffee with his friends, Corky and Tommy and spending time with his brother-in-law, Robert.

Mr. Marcoccia served in the United States Army Reserves.

Besides his wife of sixty years, he is survived by a son, Frank D. Marcoccia and his wife Rebecca of Taunton, MA, a daughter, Eva Owens and her husband Michael of Barrington; two sisters, Ilvana Caserta of Barrington and Luisa Ferreira of Waterford, CT; two brothers, Mario Marcoccia of Barrington and Louis Marcoccia of Warren; two grandsons, Michael Owens of Miami Beach, FL and Keith Marcoccia of North Quincy, MA and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.

Calling hours are Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Frank’s memory to a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.

  5. .So sorry of the passing of such a loving and gentle man. Will always remember our wonderful times at Stanley’s Boat Yard. We all felt like a family there and also through the winters when the boats were stored away till the summers to start our many great times on the water. Love to Linda and family. Our hearts are heavy now. You are in God’s hands and resting Peacefully.
