Morancy, Fred, 98, formerly of French Drive, died peacefully on May 30, 2016. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Berard) Morancy.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Fred and Catherine (Bischoff) Morancy, he lived in Swansea, MA for 13 years previously residing in Seekonk, MA for 47 years.

Mr. Morancy was a salesman for the Rex Venetian Blind Co. for 34 years before retiring in 1980.

Fred was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He enjoyed painting, golfing and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Michele M. Coates and her husband Bruce of Rockport, MA and Denise Nilsen and her husband Peter of Barrington and five grandchildren. He was the father of the late William A. Morancy and brother of the late William Morancy.

His funeral service will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Friday morning 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
