Frederick R. Barnicle, 78, of Fort Myers, FL, died unexpectedly on January 13, 2026 at his home.

Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, he was the devoted son of the late Thomas E. and Gertrude M. (Murphy) Barnicle. Frederick made his home in Fort Myers, Florida, and previously resided in Bonita Springs, where he enjoyed the warmth, community, and coastal beauty.

For more than 30 years, Frederick was a successful and respected realtor in Massachusetts. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and was known for his dedication, integrity, and genuine care for the people he served. His professional accomplishments were matched by his pride in providing for his family and helping others find a place to call home.

Frederick is survived by his daughter, Rachel A. Kowal of Southwick, Massachusetts; his son, Keith P. Barnicle of Northampton, Massachusetts; and his sister, Bonnie A. Coleman of Marco Island, Florida. He will be remembered for his commitment to his family, his strong work ethic, and the quiet kindness he extended to those around him.

A private graveside service followed by burial will be held in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
