Moakler, Gail A. (Figueiredo), 77, of County Road, Barrington, died unexpectedly on January 3, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Dr. John W. Moakler III, DMD.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Jose and Marie (Dukevich) Figueiredo, she lived in Barrington for 50 years.

Mrs. Moakler was a dental hygienist for many years.

Gail was a graduate of Warren High School Class of 1963 where she was member of the Warren High School Reunion Committee.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting watercolors, floral arranging and spending time with her loving family.

Besides her husband of 52 years, she is survived by a son, John W. Moakler IV of Barrington; a daughter, Shanna Moakler of Los Angeles, California; a step-son, Kirk S. Moakler of Riverside; a sister, Rose Marie Cembrola of Warren and eight grandchildren. She was the step-mother of the late Michelle Moakler.

Her Funeral will be private.

  1. John, I recently learned of Gail’s passing and my deepest condolences to you. Have great memories our trips to Bermuda, Mississippi and Palm Springs. Years of Friday nights at Bay state Racquet club. She will be missed by all.🙏🏻

  7. My condolences to Gail’s family on her passing. I graduated with Gail and most recently our Class of ’63 has been getting together once a month for lunch. When Gail could attend, she was a great addition to our group. We will miss her, but she will not be forgotten. RIP
