Masdanian, Garabed, 89, of South Blossom Street, East Providence, died peacefully at home on April 6, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Marie (Assadaurian) Masdanian.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, a son of the late Mikael and Baidzar (Loussikian) Masdanian, he lived in East Providence since 1967.

Mr. Masdanian was a custodian at Bradley Hospital and Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church.

He is survived by two sons; Kevork Masdanian and Vartan Masdanian, both of East Providence, two daughters; Loucien Eramain and Asdghik Eramain, both of New York, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sts. Varanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence on Friday April 12, 2013 at 11 am. Calling hours will be held in the church on Friday morning 9-11 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Garabed’s memory to Sts.
