Murphy, Gary V., 66, of Mowry Avenue, East Providence, died unexpectedly at home on December 28, 2021.
Born in Providence, a son of Norma C. (Griffin) Murphy of Rumford and the late Vincent L. Murphy, he was a lifelong resident of East Providence.
Mr. Murphy was a supervisor for Roofing Concepts Inc., East Greenwich for the past 20 years.
Gary attended Providence College.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Gail Murphy and Jack Medeiros of Riverside and Valerie A. Asiala and her husband Raymond of Warwick, a brother, Mark Murphy and his wife Pat of Narragansett and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside on Saturday January 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. Calling hours are 12 noon- 1 p.m. A private burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
