Williamson, Genevieve, A., 93, formerly of Stonegate Apartments, Riverside, died peacefully on July 26, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John E. Williamson.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Henry and Genevieve (Riley) Dussault, she lived in East Providence 42 years previously residing in Barrington.

Mrs. Williamson was a Registered Nurse for the Rhode Island Central Directory of Nurses for 40 years before retiring in 2002. She was a graduate of Durfee High School Class of 1940 and the Truesdale Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1944.

Genevieve was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed walking, swimming and spending time outdoors.

Mrs. Williamson was a United States Army Veteran serving as a Lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corp during World War II.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Passantino of Bristol and Nancy Kunce of Brockton, MA; a son, John Williamson of Arlington, VA; a brother, Henry Dussault Jr. of Fall River, MA; a sister, Eleanor Champagne of North Falmouth, MA; four grandchildren, Pamela Rich, Leigh Passantino, Michael Kunce and Elizabeth Kunce-Wagner and four great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday July 30, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
