Erickson, George Carl, 94, of Fenner Avenue, Riverside, RI and York Beach, Maine, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2023. He was the loving husband of the late Bette (Kliskey) Erickson.

Born in Gardner, MA, a son of the late George C. Erickson Sr. and Mildred (Merritt) Erickson, George lived in Riverside for 69 years.

George was a Real Estate Broker before retiring in 2015.

George was a congregant of the Haven United Methodist Church, East Providence.

He is survived by his six children, Karen, Peter, Barry, Kurt, Wendy and Scott; eight grandchildren, Julie, Colin, Amy, Devin, Wesley, Adam, Hailey and Luke and five great-grandchildren, Sully, Elliana, Charlotte, Shane and Casey. He also leaves many in-laws and friends all of whom George loved dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 13, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-6 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday August 14, 2023 in the Haven United Methodist Church, 200 Taunton Avenue, East Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Green Bower Cemetery, 101 Winter Street, Gardner, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in George’s memory be made to Haven United Methodist Church, 200 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914 to support the Healing Through Music Project. For online condolences please visit wrwatsonfuneralhome.com

    He lived an amazingly long life. RIP
