Hickox, George, J., of Hemlock Drive, Barrington died unexpectedly on June 19, 2010. He was the husband of Cynthia G. (Sutherland) Hickox.

Born in Providence, a son of the late George W. and Helen (Correa) Hickox, he lived in Barrington for the past 30 years.

Mr. Hickox was the owner and operator for Mr. Messinger for the past 20 years.

Besides his wife of 30 years, he is survived by a son; Corey J. Hickox of East Providence, a step-son; Curtis A. Sutherland and his wife Allison of North Attleboro, MA and one grandson; William Sutherland.

His funeral service and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside.
