Morris, Gerald R., 78, of Charles Street, Barrington, died peacefully at home on November 21, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late John and Eunice (Gill) Morris, he lived in Barrington for 22 years.

Mr. Morris was the owner of the former Burnside Dairy. He was a driver for the transportation department of Johnson & Wales University for 30 years before retiring in 2015.

Gerald was a member of the Cumberland American Legion Post #14. He enjoyed traveling and was a devoted supporter of several charitable organizations.

Mr. Morris was a United States Navy Veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah McKinsey of Port Charlotte, FL and Andrea Pencarski of Attleboro, MA; a brother, Edward Morris of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his longtime companion, Anne (Bingham) Callan of Barrington. He was the brother of the late Mary Mann, Paul, Daniel and Raymond Morris.

His Funeral will be held on Monday November 25, 2019 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 8:30 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling hours are Sunday 4-7 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Gerald’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd Suite 3004, Warwick RI, 02886 would be deeply appreciated.
