Parisi, Geradline, M., ‘Jerry’, 88, of Winthrop Street, Riverside, died peacefully on May 7, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Anthony G. Parisi.

Born in Warren, a daughter of the late Gaetano Jannetti and Aida (Patrone) Jannetti-Cappola, she lived in Riverside for 55 years.

Mrs. Parisi was a supervisor for the former Union Mutual Life Insurance Co. for 15 years before retiring in 1984. She previously was a sales person for Avon Cosmetics and a volunteer at Bradley Hospital, Riverside for 5 years.

Geraldine was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She also was a member of the East Providence Recreation Center. She enjoyed bowling, line dancing, traveling, vacationing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 62 years, she is survived by a daughter; Dorothy ‘Dotty’ Bettencourt and her husband Gene of Sutton, MA, a son; David Parisi and his wife Jen of Rockwood, TN, a brother; Paul Jannetti of Rumford, four grandchildren; Kristen Hirons of Worcester, MA, Jaime Murphy of Clinton, MA, Gregory Bettencourt of Bellingham, MA and Ryan Bettencourt of Sutton, MA and two great grandsons; Jack and Mason.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2011 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
