Antonitis, Gregory, J., of Barrington, died unexpectedly on February 8, 2015. He was the husband of Victoria A. (Turner) Antonitis.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Martha (Krause) Antonitis of Mission Viejo, CA and the late Edward R. Antonitis, he lived in Barrington for 23 years.

Mr. Antonitis was a project manager for Anchor Insulation for 30 years before retiring in 2013.

Gregory was a proud member of the National Riffle Association. An artist, he enjoyed scrimshaw, decoy carving, range shooting and playing his guitar.

Besides his wife of 33 years and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Rasa Erin Antonitis of Barrington; two brothers, Mark Antonitis of San Francisco, CA and Gary Antonitis of Misson Viejo, CA; a sister, Wendy Ann Antanaitis of Mission Viejo, CA; two nieces and four nephews. He was the brother of the late Maria Antonitis.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday February 21, 2015 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 3 p.m. Calling hours are 1-3 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
