Lehr, Hans, H., 67, of Harborview Avenue, died peacefully on July 9, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Stewart) Lehr.

Born in Verden an der Aller, Germany, he was the son of the late Waldemar and Katarina (Wiebe) Lehr, he lived in Bristol for the past two years previously residing in Saratoga Springs, NY for 29 years.

Mr. Lehr was the Executive Director of the Saratoga County Mental Health Services. He was a graduate of Union College, Schenectady, NY.

Hans was a world traveler. He enjoyed gardening, reading, philosophy and spending time with his loving family.

Besides his wife of 45 years, he is survived by a daughter, Kristin Lehr Anderson and her husband E.J. of Barrington; a son, Matthew Stuart Lehr and his wife Allison of Bellevue, Washington; four grandchildren, Evan, Alexander, Gabriel and Isaac and beloved friends, Geoff, Nancy, Jule and Dan.

His funeral service will be private.
