Russell, James A. Jr., 77, of Shalom Drive, Warwick, formerly of Barrington died unexpectedly at home on March 16, 2024. He was the former husband of Charlene Ann (Andreozzi) Russell of Tiverton.
Born in Providence, a son of the late James A. Russell Sr. and Matilda (Crossly) Russell, he lived in Warwick for 10 years, previously residing in Barrington.
James was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 1968.
Mr. Russell was a Butcher for the former Chellel’s Market, Barrington, for 40 years before retiring in 2002 years.
James enjoyed, animals and spending time with his loving grandchildren.
Mr. Russell was a United States Navy Veteran.
Besides his former wife, he is survived by a daughter, Loriann Russell of Smithfield, a son, James A. Russell III of Riverside; three grandchildren, Christopher J. Russell, Nathan R. Orsini and Sophia Russell; a brother, Wayne Russell of Warwick and a sister, Diane Winston of East Providence.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service with Military Honors on Thursday March 21, 2024 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1p.m.
