  1. Deepest condolences from Margaret Kane (She’s bedbound in a nursing home after her stroke last summer, with aphasia, but wanted me to convey her sympathy).

  2. Marita, its been a long time, but I was acquainted with your brother when he first moved to Los Angeles because I was living here, going to law school, and I am still living here. I know my cousin also knew him and conveyed the news of his passing to him. Just be sure to know that if he lived here in LA, he undoubtedly had an interesting life which I hope he enjoyed! I hope you are well and do not just feel his loss, but his presence and reminders of him around you. Take care.

  8. To all the Durkins…The Moran Family is heartbroken over the news of Jim’s passing. From our days growing up together in the neighborhood to these later years, we could always share great memories and laughs recounting our neighborhood shenanigans as kids. Jim always had a great sense of humor and easy smile…we’ll miss his laughter. Our consolation is knowing his Mom, Anne was there to welcome him home. May the memories of laughter dry the tears of grief, may the days ahead reflect the love everlasting and ever-present to comfort this loss.
