James M. Passantino

Passantino, James, M., 62, formerly of Third Street, died peacefully on January 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Diane E. (Williamson) Passantino.
Born in Rochester, NY, a son of the late Domenic and Jeanette (Schmenti) Passantino, he lived in Barrington for 25 years and Bristol for the past year and a half. He attended St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY.
Mr. Passantino was the owner and operator of the Executive Remodeling & Restoration Co. for 15 years before retiring in 2009 due to illness.
James was a former Barrington Youth Soccer Coach and the St. Luke Church Girl’s CYO Assistant Basketball Coach. He was a volunteer at Big Brothers and the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid golfer and devoted New England sports fan.
Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by a daughter, Leigh C. Riazi and her husband Joshua of Rehoboth, MA; a granddaughter, Sofia Riazi of Rehoboth, MA; a brother, John Passantino of Chatham Township, NJ; a sister, Janis Delucia of San Francisco, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was the step-son of the late Anthony D. Delucia.
His funeral will be held on Monday February 1, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
