Sullivan, James M., 81, of Lindy Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on November 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Westfield, MA, a son of the late John and Christine A. (Johnson) Sullivan, he lived in Riverside for 25 years.

Mr. Sullivan was an engineer for Food Processing Plants for many years. He was a graduate of Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass-Amherst.

James was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer M. Sullivan-Brunault and her husband James of Holyoke, MA; a son, James M. Sullivan and his fianc Courtney Scahill of Westfield, MA; a brother, Robert W. Sullivan and his wife Dorothea of Bourne, MA; two grandchildren, Hannah M. Sullivan and Samuel Costa; a nephew, Michael Sullivan; longtime companion, Ann Procopio of Riverside and step-children, Maryann Costa and her husband Kenneth of Riverside and Michael Procopio of Riverside.

His funeral service will be held on Monday November 7, 2016 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 6 p.m. Calling hours are Monday 4-6 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield, MA.
