Coffey, Janet, M., 80, of Highland Avenue, died peacefully on Saturday June 4, 2011. She was the wife of the late John J. Coffey.

Born in Waltham, MA, a daughter of the late Edmund P. and Mary R. (Igoe) Concannon, she lived in Barrington for over 40 years.

Mrs. Coffey was a unit secretary at Rhode Island Hospital for over 20 years before retiring in 1993.

Janet was a communicant of St. Luke Church. She was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons; James M. Coffey and his wife Rosemarie of Barrington, John F. Coffey and his wife Mary Jane of Barrington and Richard Coffey and his wife Ann of Barrington, two daughters; Mary R. Greene of Rumford and Joanne M. Kovich and her husband Victor of Barrington, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edmund and Robert Concannon.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2011 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:15 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
